The Central Valley Stand Down (18-19 September 2019) will be held at the VFW 8900 post in Fresno, CA.
The clinic will offer services to homeless or at-risk veterans from across the Fresno metro area and beyond. Healing California will be providing dental and vision services to patients 0n site.
We are in need of all dental and vision professionals:
- Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons
- General Dentists
- Dental Hygienists
- Dental Assistants- RDA’s and Dental Assistant
- Optometric and Ophthalmic Techs
The Annual Central Valley Stand Down will be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8900.

All qualified professionals must hold an appropriate valid and current California license, or be approved by the California Department of Consumer Affairs to serve at Free Sponsored Health Events.
We will provide all supplies, equipment and personal protective equipment. If you have a question about what equipment is available, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer malpractice insurance to our providers. All providers holding TDIC policies are covered for our clinics. Please check with your malpractice insurance provider to see if your volunteer work is covered under your policy.
The clinic hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm on Wednesday September 18, and 8.00am-5.00pm on Thursday September 19. There will be a dental and vision briefing at 8.00am sharp.
