The North Valley Stand Down Clinic will be held at the 2019 North Valley Stand Down in Anderson, CA. Healing California’s volunteers will be providing dental and vision services to veterans and their families in need. Other services will be available at the event from other community partners. The event will serve homeless and indigent veterans from across Shasta County and beyond.

We are in need of dental and vision volunteers to help us provide services. All equipment is provided, all we need is your skills and your time.

- Dental Assistants
- Optometrists and ophthalmologists
- Opticians, ophthalmic and optometric techs and vision lab techs

All qualified professionals must hold an appropriate valid and current California license, or be approved by the California Department of Consumer Affairs to serve at Free or Sponsored Health Events.
We will provide all supplies, equipment and personal protective equipment. If you have a question about what equipment is available, please contact email@example.com.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer malpractice insurance to our providers. All dental providers holding TDIC policies are covered for our clinics. Please check with your malpractice insurance provider to see if your volunteer work is covered under your policy.
The clinic hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm on Friday October 25, 8.00am-12:00pm on Saturday October 26. There will be a dental and vision briefing at 8.00am sharp.
We are more than happy to accommodate half day schedules. These are available on our registration site. If you wish to volunteer another schedule, please let us know before registering to volunteer.
